GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

ARTICLE 1: PURPOSE AND SCOPE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply automatically, without restriction, to any purchase of accommodation services (rental of campsite pitches; rental of accommodation), restaurant services, or any other services offered by the campsite “Le Domaine du Trappeur”, hereinafter referred to as the CAMPSITE, to consumers and non-professional clients, hereinafter referred to as the CLIENT.
The main characteristics of the services are presented on the CAMPSITE’s website www.domainedutrappeur.com. The CLIENT must read these before placing any order. The choice or purchase of a service is the sole responsibility of the CLIENT.
Validation of the order by the CLIENT constitutes full, unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. These conditions may be amended in the future; the version applicable to the CLIENT’s purchase is the version in force on the date the contract is concluded.
ARTICLE 2: RESERVATION CONDITIONS
Reservations are strictly personal and may not be transferred, assigned, or sublet under penalty of nullity.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
The CAMPSITE reserves the right to refuse a CLIENT who has previously caused damage, violated safety rules and/or the internal regulations, or disturbed the peaceful enjoyment of other guests. If refusal occurs during the stay and before the planned departure date, the CLIENT is not entitled to any refund.
A reservation is considered final only after payment of a deposit or the full amount of the stay.
The remaining balance must be paid 4 weeks before arrival. Only the tourist tax is payable on-site upon the CLIENT’s arrival.
ARTICLE 3: MODIFICATION OF RESERVATION
No reduction or refund will be granted in the event of absence, late arrival, early departure, or if one or more nights of the stay are not spent at the CAMPSITE.
If the CLIENT fails to arrive within 24 hours after the scheduled beginning of the stay, and without notification or justification, the CAMPSITE may reallocate the pitch or rental accommodation.
ARTICLE 4: CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be notified by email. The date of receipt of the email shall be considered the cancellation date.

Cancellation policy:
- More than 30 days before arrival: cancellation free of charge, except for the administrative fee (€15).
- Less than 30 days before arrival: the deposit (30%) and the administrative fee (€15) remain the property of the CAMPSITE.
ARTICLE 5: DURING YOUR STAY
5.1. Arrival and departure times
- Rental accommodations: arrival from 16:00, departure before 11:00
- Pitches: arrival from 12:00, departure before 11:00
- Latest arrival time: 21:00 — no arrivals will be accepted after this time.
Any delay does not entitle the CLIENT to a refund or price reduction.
Late departure will result in the billing of a late check-out fee (equivalent to half a night).
5.2. Pets
Pets are allowed (max. 2 per pitch, max. 1 per rental accommodation) at an additional daily fee, and must be vaccinated and kept on a leash by an adult.
Pets are not allowed in the Renard Yurt or the Loup Yurt.
Category 1 and 2 dogs (dangerous breeds) are not allowed.
The CLIENT must present vaccination certificates upon request.
The CAMPSITE may refuse entry to any pet owner who does not comply with these rules.
5.3. Change of pitch or accommodation
The CAMPSITE may assign a different but equivalent pitch or accommodation if necessary.
5.4. Security deposit
Upon arrival, the CLIENT must pay a €100 security deposit for rental accommodations.
An inventory check shall be carried out upon departure.
The deposit will be refunded after deduction of any damages. If the damage exceeds the deposit, the CAMPING may demand additional compensation. If cleaning has not been done, €50–75 will be deducted.
5.5. Internal regulations & safety rules
All persons on the CAMPSITE must comply with the internal regulations and posted safety rules.
Failure to comply may result in immediate expulsion without refund.
5.6. Visitors
Visitors must register at the reception before entering the CAMPSITE.
Management may refuse access to non-registered persons.
5.7. Parking
Each reservation entitles the CLIENT to one parking space on the CAMPSITE’s private parking area.
Any additional vehicle must park outside the CAMPSITE.
ARTICLE 6: PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Payment may be made by bank transfer, cheque, ANCV holiday vouchers, credit card, cash, or via an online payment platform chosen by the CAMPSITE.
Use of such a platform does not give the website the status of a commercial webshop; it remains a reservation platform.
ARTICLE 7: OBLIGATIONS
7.1. Obligations of the CLIENT
The CLIENT must respect the maximum occupancy of the rented accommodation or pitch as stated on the website. The internal regulations must be strictly followed.
7.2. Obligations of the CAMPSITE
The CAMPSITE undertakes to enforce the internal regulations and stop any disturbance that may affect the CLIENT’s stay.
ARTICLE 8: COMPLAINTS
Complaints regarding the stay must be reported to the management as soon as possible. Management will make every effort to find a solution.
ARTICLE 9: FORCE MAJEURE
The CAMPSITE declines all liability for disturbances, interruptions, or impediments caused by events qualifying as force majeure.
Examples include: extreme weather, acts of civil or military authority, war, mobilisation, riots, total or partial strikes, fire, flooding, administrative closure, accidents.
In case of temporary force majeure, obligations are suspended; in case of permanent force majeure, the contract may be terminated without compensation.
ARTICLE 10: LIABILITY
The CAMPSITE is not liable for theft, damage, or accidents involving the CLIENT’s personal belongings, equipment, or vehicles.
The CLIENT must hold valid liability insurance.
The CLIENT is responsible for any disturbance or damage caused by themselves, their visitors, or their belongings.
The CAMPSITE is responsible for the maintenance and safety of its infrastructure except when the CLIENT is the direct cause of the damage.
ARTICLE 11: SAFETY
Any malfunction of gas, electrical or water equipment must be reported immediately.
Electric vehicles may only be charged at designated charging points.
Open fires are strictly prohibited.
Bunk beds are prohibited for children under 6 years old.
